A Super Beautiful Wedding in Chamonix, France with Plenty of Snow, a Jenny Packham Dress and a Polar Bear ♥♥♥

2013 ended with an absolute BOOM (shake shake shake the room) for me! Justin & Maddie’s wedding was, above all, a party to end all parties. Full of laughter, smiles and of course the compulsory Genepi to get the party started! I woke up in the morning to the perfect winter wonderland setting. Honestly, Chamonix had never looked so good and I just knew it was going to be a beautiful day in so many ways. Maddie was so chilled as she got ready, with a lovely (not to mention stunning) group of friends who made me feel so welcome. Kris & Maren especially, are two exception people who set up and now run Coppafeel, an amazing charity that you simply MUST check out and give your support to – www.coppafeel.org. Justin and Maddie are totally my kind of people; really lovely, into their board sports and living life to the full and generally just a pleasure to be around. Their wedding was planned to perfection by the lovely Jody from Mont Blanc Weddings and the venue the ever exquisite La Cabane des Praz, a long-time favourite of mine from my Chamonix days complete with it’s very own polar bear! What’s not to love about this wedding? A gorgeous Jenny Packham gown, stunning bridesmaids dresses, a super cool groom in tweed who sung a love song to his new bride, divine light, horse & cart transportation, a beautiful personalised ceremony conducted by one of Maddie’s lovely work colleagues, music by another of their extremely talented friends throughout the day and a whole heap of snow!!
