Oh my goodness, if you’re looking for wedding inspiration look no further. A stunning destination island wedding on Alderney with so many homemade touches and just the most incredible gown by Grace Loves Lace, all set in a quarry! Emily & Dan simply had the most incredible day with a kick ass party and insane weather. If you’ve never been to Alderney I can wholeheartedly recommend it. A stunning island that you can cycle round in a morning easily with beautiful beaches to rival anything you might find abroad. Emily’s flower crown was the same her Mum wore at her own wedding, albeit with a few embellishments. The legend that is Ronnie, Emily’s Dad, made everything at the wedding from scratch using pallet boards, from the bar, to the signage, huge gate to the quarry and even the centrepieces and cake stand! Simply incredible! The quarry location was just a photographer’s dream, complete with train track, amazing golden hour and beautiful views over Braye Beach. It was also wonderful to work alongside Judy and her dream team from The Georgian House. Emily & Dan, you two definitely win coolest couple award in my eyes. Thank you for bringing me over to such a magical place to share such a wonderful day with you both. I hope everyone enjoys the joy, laughter and fun in these photos, Helen x
