Rosie & Faris’ super fun, outdoor, glamping wedding in Kent is up on the blog today and weddings definitely don’t get more beautiful than this! Even though the weather wasn’t looking promising the day itself went so smoothly thanks to the stunning styling and amazing organisation of Vicki and Michelle at Pocketful of Dreams. The event took place at a friend’s farm on the Kent/East Sussex border and provided the perfect backdrop for this outdoorsy, rustic themed wedding. The outdoor ceremony was an emotional, unique affair with beautiful readings and songs from friends and family as well as personalised vows, all conducted by a close friend of the couple. All the guests sung Bob Marley, This is Love as they exited and it was clear to see how much love and affection was felt towards the couple.
So much thought and care had gone into all the personalised touches and styling behind this wedding. The neon theme suited their fun personalities to a tee, with personalised drinks glasses, all ushers in various bright colours as well as the bridesmaids with neon jewellery and shoes, a tattoo parlour and glowsticks! Rosie is from America and she wanted to bring a little bit of this to the mix with Southern Tea cocktails and southern food for the wedding breakfast. Think yummy tacos and southern fried chicken – delicious! Rosie and Faris had been travelling for a year leading up to the wedding so this element was used for the table plan, an amazing departures board with all the table names being places they had been and explored.
I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of their story but this wedding can’t help but put a smile on your face. Rosie & Faris are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and who truly define the meaning of getting out there and living your dreams. Their amazingly welcoming and lovely family and friends are truly testament to their fun loving, adventurous, kind spirits and long may they continue to follow their hearts and passions around the world. Both Hayley, my incredible 2nd shooter, and I drove home buzzing after this whirlwind of a day, chatting constantly about all the details and magic moments. A big thank you as well to Frances and partner from Reel Love Films for being an absolute dream to work with, couldn’t recommend them highly enough! xxx

Ah, these are fabulous!! They bring back all the sense of fun and love from the day, well done you two, they are gorgeous. You were both so wonderful to work alongside…what a fab team! Hope we get to work with you again one day. xx
[…] Personalised vows (my favourite), family members singing and beautiful readings all made for a very emotional ceremony which was then followed by a proper knees up in the marquee with some fantastic dancing….and photo booth bombing. We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working alongside the lovely Helen and assistant Hayley from Helen Cawte Photography, who were both genuinely one of the loveliest ladies we’ve worked with. Thanks for being so nice! You can see the photos here…beautiful. […]
